About Buriat Language
Buriat also known as Buryat language is a major dialect of Mongolic language which is spoken by the Buryat and Bargas peoples. Russia has a majority of Buryat speakers. Buryat is the official language of the Buryat Republic in Mongolia. China, inner Mongolia and Mongolia has at least 100,000 Buryat speakers as well. It is also the official language in Buryatia, Russia. Buryat language belongs to the Mongolic Language family. There are 5 major dialects namely Khori group, Lower Uda (Nizhneudinsk) dialect, Alar-Tunka group, Ekhirit-Bulagat group, Burgut group. Buryat language is classified as Burgu-Buryat dialect of Mongolian language in China.
